Calin Cyfer is "one of the most appreciated guitar players of The Romanian Blues Rock scene" (Horia Neagu, Smart FM, Bucharest). His music style could be described as world blues, a mixture of blues rock, funk grooves and exotic sounds. In 2010, he went on tour with his band, promoting his first solo album, entitled Color. The Color Jam Tour reached most of the big Romanian cities and some abroad in Eastern and Central Europe.

A live DVD recording is scheduled for January, 2011. Calin Cyfer plans to record a concert with his band, capturing his live sound straight for your living room. His usual setlist includes "Color" album originals ("Say What You Feel" and "Sharp Edged Bone" two live show crowd pleasers) as well as classic blues and soul songs ("Boom, Boom" and "Midnight Hour").

Cyfer’s debut solo album Color features his deep bass voice and his bluesy slide guitar as the most recognizable sounds. All the album tracks are written by Cyfer.

Since 2006, he organizes at The Big Mamou Club (Bucharest) the longest jam-sessions series in Romania, now called Open Jam. Every Tuesday the show gathers together musicians of any genre or instrument, amateurs or pro, in order to creating unique creative moments.
